OIL PAINTING WORKSHOPS
Oil Painting, taught using a variety of methods, from wet on wet, palette knife, underpainting, glazing, alla prima etc. These classes are designed for both the beginner and intermediate alike. Whether to learn a new method or just to have fun, bring a canvas and join us!

FAIRVIEW VISTA CONDOS-Located on Lake Fairview. On 441 between Silver Star and Lee road. It will be in the clubhouse(rec room) which is large, facing the pool and lake. There is a refrigerator and microwave, so you can bring your lunch.

DATE:SATURDAY, MAY 16, 2009 - TIME: 9am to 4:00pm
Description: Using only 2 colors, Transparent Oxide Brown and Ultramarine Blue, this class is geared toward learning to draw the portrait. You will receive a photo of the subject for reference, along with quick reference guides to drawing the face and head at a ¾ view. With just 2 colors, you will learn to paint the full range of values associated with creating a 3D effect. This is a good preliminary class in preparation for the workshop coming up in June. This also an excellent class for anyone wanting to learn to draw and master portraits! No previous experience necessary.
